Is this any good for the money? Can you tell me if this is any good for the money? https://eskute.co.uk/products/m100-electric-mountain-bike?currency
It's very cheap, quite basic, steel frame (heavy) , single wall rims, Shimano 7 speed, but I think it will work fine as an e-bike

What would you use it for ? Roads, tracks, how far ? Hilly

You could convert a Facebook marketplace bike yourself and end up with a better spec bike and tailor it to your exact spec

Looks ok, no huge red flags sticking out as far as my casual glance over could tell, legal motor rating, and no dreaded battery coms features boasted about, possibly dubious cells in the battery?? but then again perhaps not? but thats the easiest place to cut costs.

for casual use weekends and bank holiday fun,its probably all you need but if commuting 10+ miles a day niggling issues may prove prevalent spoiling any fun.
If 600 is your budget a complete conversion kit can be found for £400 or less leaving you £200 to find a 2nd use donor bike ideally suited to your needs check out ebay etc and see what £200 can get you, look for GOOD BRAKES, Space to mount a battery centrally and low as possible (centre of gravity issues), and with some suspension imho..

If I was doing a cheapo bike

£80-£100 for a hardly used bike with disc brakes

This one advertised for £100 open to sensible offers

£330 for Yosepower 27.5" rear cassette kit (could get a 250 W front hub xf07 kit with KT controller and 36V 13 Amp battery for £250 from PSWPower if you wanted even cheaper)

Add some cable actuated hydraulic disc calipers for £22 delivered or Shimano Mt200 fully hydraulic brakes, a little bit more.

Round about £430-450 in total including bike (or £350 - £380 including bike if you went for the front hub kit from PSWPower)

(If you can do it yourself or know someone, I don't know how much someone would charge - it's only a 2-3 hours work to convert it - maybe £50-£100)
