It's an age thing.......or maybe just a sad thing!

Unusually for me, I'm at home tonight, (Friday) and after channel hopping, I eventually settled on BBC4 where they have devoted most of the evening to the wonderful Doris Day.

What a treat to see lots of archive footage of one of the most beautiful stars of the silver screen back in the 1950s and 60s! I don't suppose I'm the only one of the ebike generation to have adored that woman when I was a young man. She had it all; the looks, the acting ability and that delightful singing voice. Made my night!

My 18yearold son listens to Doris day on his iPod. So maybe not an age thing. Could be a bit sad though.

last night was a pink floyd night.........my dad used to like doris day as i recall !!!!!
