I have a Bafang C965 display. I read in one of the manuals that this is water resistant but not water proof.
Is this correct (only resistant) and is it something I need to worry about?
Will the thing malfunction if it gets too wet in the rain? If so how do you keep yours dry?
I rode with my pedelec for the first time in the wet and all went well until I tried to turn the battery off at the end of the ride, it was very wet, I just could not turn it off. Returning an few hours later it functioned normally. I guess this is related to water in a connection somewhere?
