Key Display LCD / controller compatibility

I have a S06S controller and currently an LCD5 from bmsbattery.

Does anyone know if the displays from key-display e.g. http://www.key-display.com/admin/chanpin1/main.asp?id=769 or http://www.key-display.com/admin/chanpin1/main.asp?id=776 would be compatible?

Are these controllers and displays generally interchangeable or does each have a proprietary protocol?

It should work OK for normal settings, but you'll probably lose access to the advanced settings. If your controller is already setup, it should be OK.
