Knocking while pedaling

I’ve converted my Rayleigh road bike using a Bafang bbs02 48v kit.
when pedaling under assistance there’s a knock each time the right hand crank passes the vertical position so when the force of my leg is pushing on it.

no issues using the throttle and nothing seems loose , any ideas please?

Try tightening the crank arm if it is loose it will do that

Makes sense but I’ve tried that and doesn’t seem to make any difference

Have you checked to make sure it's not your knees .

Have you checked that the BBS unit is tight and not knocking against the frame under torque ? Try a piece of rubber or a pad buffer between it and the frame.

Or better still a short film to show/hear the noise.
