Hi

I cant remember what volt battery I can add to my ku65, 36v for a booster battery, anybody know please.
I have 3 cell lipo battery I can just try for a quick mile if thats not to big.

Plus I have lost the link to the company that was selling the batterys and lipo chargers.Any help on that one please too.

Thank you.

I use an 11.1v booster - so 48v nominal

This is right on the limits of this controller though and I was told it may go pop. I think I get away with it as I use 18650 cells and get some voltage sag hence don't quite hit the upper voltage cap

I suspect if I used 48v nominal of lipo it would go pop

You are def safe using a 7.4v booster

Two cells is definitely OK. Three puts you on the limit.

If you set 3.2v (each cell) it should be ok.

Once the cells reach 3.6v, they're virtually empty and will go down rapidly, so it's best to set it there

Ok thanks, the charge rate states 2amps on the web site, but charger manual stating 1c which is way over for this battery, what would the best current charge to prolong life, stick to the 2amps or could I go a bit higher.

Thanks again
