I am studying my options for my next build and the Q128 in a 28" wheel is one of the two choices I have made. I will stick to 36 V in order to be able to use the same battery on two different bikes.

I currently have the 36 V Mxus which is rated at 250 W but I see 500 W on the LCD when in assistance level 5 (14 A x 36 V) which is enough to push me up my hill at 20 kph with very light pedalling in jeans and up to the 25 kph limit when I am wearing shorts and trying harder.

The Q128 is a cassette sprocket, light (3 Kg) and discreet enough to pass for a 250 W motor with the right stickers applied to it...

I too have been looking at the128c as an off road set up instead of my GSM kit., I am thinking of a 48v 328 run at 36v to give about 260rpm using the 09 18a sw controller set up.
