Anyone on here experimented with rear cog size changes?
Tried one a few days ago and found the cadence too slow for my liking.
Otherwise a fantastic bike....i loved it ;)

The bike has a Sram Automatix hub.

Looks like it could be possible to change the rear sprocket, although the one installed is already quite small.

A bigger chain ring up front might be simpler, assuming it will work with the fitted tensioner and not foul the frame.

Some hub gear makers publish min/max gearing, exceed this and the warranty will be void.

Here's the link to the Automatix hub, you will need to have a further root around to see if there's a tech document.

Got an 18t as standard and they are the normal Sram, S/A, 3 lug fitting. So no probs going to a 19 or 20 i think. Would just like to hear from someone who has done it to see how it feels compared with the original 18t.
Unfortunately no spares listing and apparently no spares are available :(
All i know is the low gear is 1:1 and the high is 137% up.
Interesting stuff here,
