After seeing very few if any ebikes in past years this year there are definitely more about. On one ride to Lytham earlier in the year i saw 5 folders make unkown on one ride. Since i have seen another in Blackburn and also a chap on a Bionx a few times. There are also a couple of what look like batrikes ridden by a chap and his wife ridden locally as well. It looks like the revolution has started !

Yes,
I have seen a couple more. The weather in Swansea at the moment is wet so not many out on bikes.

Here in Boston, Lincs, the increase has been gradual rather than exponential. I see at least one or two ebikes most days, but it depends on the weather. Folders are a rarity. Most of the bikes you see tend to be Chinese cheapies, and include some Currie drive models. Most of the riders seem to be at least 50 years old.

Hi all. Here in Exeter I have seen very few ebikes there are some but mostly old ones and folders but nothing new!!,I have just came back from Spain and in the nearest town to me (Fuengirola) where there are great cycle routs! I have not seen a single ebike but owing to the dreadful unemployment there are lots & lots of cyclists (which keeps them off the road I suppose !!!!!.) but if they are unemployed I don't suppose they can afford an ebike???'
Regards Steve.

Well, I'm still the newest e-biker around here. In the two years previous to me putting mine on the road, I saw a couple of new ones appear in the vicinity, but I haven't seen them around for ages. There's just one, which is ridden by a woman with a gammy foot and she's a total convert - a normal bicycle wasn't very comfortable for her at all, but the e-bike's made all the difference in the world to her.
Anyway, she's had that one (a Sakura) for years now and it's on its second or third battery and just keeps on going.

The only place I ever see any ebikes down here (cornwall) is in the Eden Project bike park.
Never seen one on any of the local bike trails, other than one owned by a local young feller of 73, who uses the Camel Trail to get to Sainsburys in Bodmin.
