Thats the reason why i wouldn't buy an ebike or kit that has a unique battery.

Haven't you ever been to Switzerland? I worked there for a big multinational and they paid for everything except booze because if we had added expenses to the bill... Swiss bike, Swiss battery prices.

They say it's 17.5Ah and 630wh, which makes it 36v, yet the weight is 6kg.

Assuming 2500mAh cells, it would contain 70 at 50g each, which makes 3.5kg, plus 1kg for the case max = 4.5kg!!!

It's good to do that sometimes to see how far we've come.

Have a look at this one - people getting all excited about 26v Kalkhoffs, and the same old sour grapes about illegal bikes going to bring the end of the world. It's a real shame we don't have events like that, Bristol World Championships and Redbridge anymore.

That's me near the back: I saw a lot of photographers around the course during the race & a few video cameras, so more pics & clips please! :) next year I'll be racing with a headcam to show people just how hairy it got going round some of the corners, I have the necessary equipment...
