Just dropped my MAC motor in to have it re-built into a 26" wheel (was in a 700c) as I've changed bike.

I asked the wheel builder if he thought the same motor (but a higher RPM) would fit into a Brompton 16" wheel, he didn't think so due to the diameter.

Any ideas what the max diameter would be? I was thinking of a Bafang BPM2 48v500 front motor but that's 180 OD too, like the MAC. Might have to go for a Q128?

Forgot to say 100mm drop out width won't be an issue as i'm getting wider disk forks made. Decided not to go mid drive due to folding issues.

the xiongda XD would be a good fit. They can do it in 360 RPM for you.

Need a battery for the mountain bike so think I'll go for a battery or two and a motor kit. Now 320 or 410 rpm..
Bums batteries don't much cheaper once you get to the higher current biggerAh packs.
