Ok so I think I've found a company who will offer me roughly what I'm looking for.
The base bike (before the kit) is a Muddy fox Anarchy 500.
As I'm not particularly clued up on bike parts nowadays I wondered if anyone could give me an idea of if its any good. I can't seem to find any reviews online. So if anyone knows of one that would be great?

Muddyfox Anarchy500 Mens Tech Spec

> Alloy Hardtail Mountain Bike Frame
> Suntour XCR Magnesium Suspension Forks with Hydraulic Lockout and Adjustable Rebound - 100mm Travel
> Alloy MTB Handlebars
> Alloy A-Head Handlebar Stem
> 27 Speed Shimano Alivio gears with Shimano Alivio Rapid Fire Shifters
> Suntour XCM Chainset
> Tektro HDX300 Front and Rear Hydraulic Disc Brakes
> Alex Rims 26" Quick Release Double Walled Alloy Wheels
> 26" x 2.25" Maxxis Ardent Tyres
> Cionlli MTB Saddle with Bumpers

I'm 6" tall, but as i can get a nice discount on the 18" frame I'm thinking to get that one and then get a longer suspension seatpost (thudbuster) with some of the money I'm saving. Would this be suitable?

Thanks in advance.

The bike looks reasonable for £300, mostly branded components at the cheaper end, which is what you'd expect for the money.

Not sure what you mean about a 'longer suspension seatpost'.

You want the correct frame size to start with.

It might be possible to sort the saddle height, but the reach on too small a frame may be too short, and the handlebars too low.

I also think the 18" frame may be too small for you. I'm 5'5" with 30" inside leg and I ride an 18" frame. Really I think you'll need a 20 or 22". They give height/inside leg measures on the bike spec.

You can select 18", 20" or 21" frame, same price.
They have a nice little chart to select the right size according to your leg length.

You should get the 20" frame BUT first, what motor are you thinking of fitting?

Ok cheers all, was gonna be the 18" originally due to getting £170 off the price with them having it in stock. I Have been since offered the 20" at the same price though so will go with that.
Will be a rear hub fitted
