Not with led it has 3 set speeds, only way is if your controller has a speed connection which can be unconnected.

Show us a pic of your current controller and display.

Michael, I have already explained what you can do. You can install a throttle, that will run unrestricted. Or you can change the controller for the one I mentioned in the other thread. These are the only ways to derestrict your bike

Edit: I see you are looking into another controller, I can recommend the brainpower 350w ones on eBay. They get the speed reading from the black wire and are configurable in every way you can think of. Kt are a good option too but cost a little more.

Geez, sorry m8, noob obviously. What black wire? I have a 8 wire motor, black is gnd for the hall sensors is it not?
Also are they both same size cos the controller box has little extra space.
Thank you so much, if I can use it, I will buy it.
I just checked again, I'll have to contact the seller cos he doesnt deliver to my place.

Sorry I bit a little hard, needed coffee... Anyway it's pretty small and fits in the Carrera box which is also rather cramped so it should do, if I remember right it might be a tiny bit wider but more or less the same size. In my particular motor the black and the white (which is the usual speed sensor wire) come from the same braided wire inside the cable, so it's getting speed information from the hall sensors. I think I remember you asking about a white wire which is why I mentioned it. I have unplugged the white as was getting inaccurate speed readings and it still works so the white wire isn't necessary. These controllers work pretty well for a cheapie just wish the Speedo and odometer were accurate, they might be for a more common motor like yours though

Any idea what the output voltage is when turned up to highest setting. I am thinking of putting a wee circuit in that will takeh whatever that voltage is as an input and trigger 4.2V at the throttle input. That way the bike behaves normally at the lower settings, but once the highest setting is selected, the output voltage of my wee circuit enables full speed on the throttle line and so disables the speed limit. My wee circuit could fit inside the controller/wiring case. Course, I could be less lazy and measure it myself :)
Thanks.
