At the ripe old age of 65 I am new to the e-bike scene. I have just acquired an ex demo Carrera Vengeance bike with a Phylion battery. This is the second battery I have had as I was out riding yesterday and suddenly all of the lights on the battery began to flash and there was no power at all either to the hub or controller. I was lucky to be not that far from Halfords where I bought the bike so ran into there and they immediately exchanged the battery for new. However went out on another ride today and the same thing happened but on this occasion I was able to detach the battery and re-attach and the problem was resolved not something that I was able to do yesterday.
I wonder if anyone else has had this experience and throw any light onto what may be causing the issue. I don't want to spend the rest of my time continually running into Halfords for exchanges.
