Probably asked a thousand times..

However I have a https://www.cyclotricity.com/uk/dual-power-bikes-29/stealth-1000w-n-44.html with the 12ah battery. If I get 1 mile I am lucky. Its been back to Cyclotricity to test the battery and they say its within tolerance. It used to do much more and its only 9 months old (

Looking at a new battery.

Any suggestions?

What did Cyclotricity say to check next? They're usually pretty good at helping sort these things out on the phone.
If they've tested the battery as okay then I wouldn't buy a new one. Surely the problem must be in the wiring, motor or controller.

When you charge the battery are you seeing two red lights on the charger? How long is it taking until one light on the charger turns green?

I was very pleased with the helpfulness of the chap..

The charger does not appear to take too long to charge up. A few hours rather than eight or so. Only one light on my charger - red or green.

You measure the battery voltage with a meter as soon as your charger goes green. Run your bike until it cuts out, then immediately measure it again. Those two results will indicate whether your battery is OK or not.
