I have a Tongxin Nano in my brompton bike which I installed a couple years ago. It stopped working without any specific reason I could determine and hours of troubleshooting have not provided any advance. I usually use it with PAS only but added throttle to troubleshoot, here is the problem:
With BMSBattery S06P controller (torque simulation version): with full throttle, the motor only stutters very slightly forward. Making the motor starts manually before using throttle does not change anything. Changing phase wires only make it stutters backward instead of forward.
With Elifebike 350W sensorsless controller: with full throttle, motor does not move an inch but I can hear a very slight clicking sound from "inside" the motor. It sounds more like an "electrical" clicking sound than something mechanical but that's a very wild guess.
Do you have any idea what is going wrong here?
