Purchases from China

Has anyone recently purchased motor kits from China? I am concerned at the cost of getting through UK Customs. Does the anti dumping levy apply to purchases of parts? I am thinking of purchasing two or three 2 speed front hub motors from Xiongda.

Individual items will probably still get thru but buying two or three kits will most likely incur fees because of the size and weight of the parcel and esp if one of the big carriers or RM/PF are involved.

Yes you can purchase it from china. It may cost you less than what it would usually cost you in your country.

Hi, I bought a rear hub Xiongda 2 speed motor plus controller, PAS a couple of months ago. It was held at customs until I provided proof of purchase cost and then I wasn't charged any customs duty. Note that I got Xiongda to itemise the shipping cost separately. No point in paying duty on that. Other than that I had great service from Bonnie at Xiongda and she replied quickly and comprhensively with queries.
