I am thinking to give the above motor a try, gears seem to be better than rollers in terms of reliability. The motor has the same dimensions as the tongxin.
I have red almost every thread about wheel lacing, cannot figure out the correct spoke length. Daniel.weck for examble uses 333 mm as the erd of the rim, 340 mm in the product page from sjscycles.
This gives 4mm difference for 1X in the sprleadsheet calculator, which is probably too much
With 340 erd the length is 121+ mm. Would 120 be on the safe side, even if the erd is smaller than stated?
Eg. 338 gives 119 and 333 117.
I know nothing about wheel building, but cuting 1- 2 mm from the end of the thread, wouldn't do any harm or i am totaly wrong here?. Total thread length seems to be 8mm. From the other side, could a 1,5 mm shorter spoke impose such a big problem?
Thanks a lot in advance for your advice,
