I have searched the site looking for a general BMS cut out voltage for a 36v Li ion. I don't have a problem it's for information only, thanks. John

It depends what the programmer selected - normally between 29v and 31v.

Why do you want to alter the LVC on a BMS?
Thanks Trex and d8eh for replies. I have a BMS that switches off at about 38volts. When shorted it runs. It is a 10cell unit. Can I access the lvc and adjust? Got images, but cannot work how to get them on......?

LVC works at a cell level rather than global. Is it a 12S BMS? Some 12S BMSs can work with 10 cells if you short the last three pins together. You'll need a 12S connector to with only 10 sense wires connected. Some 12S BMSs use a 13 pin connector and others a 12 pin one.

There was a really cheap 10S BMS on Ebay last week. Would that be a better solution?
