Really impressed with rented e-bike

My partner & I have been so impressed with the electric bicycles that we hired while on holiday in Brittany that we would like to equip ourselves in the UK. To that end I have started doing extensive research on all things e-bike first off by finding & registering on this forum. We are late middle age & have moderately decent hybrid bikes (A Trek for her & a Boardman for me). In all honesty we are fair weather recreational cyclists & only really enjoy cycling provided there isn't too much traffic or too many hills. E-bikes would give us more incentive to get out & getting a bit of fresh air & exercise.

Lots of choice as you are seeing. Don't miss the small manufacturers (really, assemblers). I can recommend Woosh (http://wooshbikes.co.uk/), good value bikes and excellent service. Wisper and Kudos are worth looking at too. You could consider conversions for your existing bikes, again Woosh is a good place to look at.
