My venerable 15 year old Powerbyke behaved a bit odd today. It turned out the throttle no longer sprang back to close on release. It still works but I assume an internal spring has bent/broken. Has anyone taken one apart?
Assuming Powerbyke throttles work the same way as bog standard Chinese ones, a replacement will not be expensive but I will probably have to cut off the connector to solder the wires into the handlebar mounted control box. Year 2000 was a long time ago in Ebike history!
