Replacement for quick release seat skewer?

Googling for ages, I don't think I know the exact words I need.

Basically trying to find a replacement for the quick release skewer for my seat post so that I can make it a bit more secure. I had a couple of bolts from my old bikes but the diameter is too wide. Can anyone post a link? Thanks.

You need to check which size you have.

They are usually either M8 or M6. How about this...

Thanks for the quick replies but I am still getting the wording wrong. I want to replace my skewer with one that is not quick release so that it's slightly harder to nick. E.g. Requires a hex key or something.

Ahh, that's where I am going wrong. I didn't release the whole clamp comes off. I just thought I had to replace the skewer. Many thanks as usual!

There's nothing to stop you taking out the skewer and replacing it with am M^ bolt/cap screw.

Wow, they are pricey but a good idea. Will probably go for the new clamp option. Just going to measure for size.
