Hi everyone,

I was searching for a while to find some hydraulic brakes with built in motor cut-off switch.

I realised that both my front and rear brakes had the switch on them so I decided to upgrade the front brake and do away with one switch, leaving me with the rear still active. Nice and safe.

After getting the new front brake fitted I thought I would take the old one apart to see if I could some how get the cut-off switch out of it and fit it to the new brake lever.

I managed to remove the switch and located it under the corner of the new brake lever.

The bottom had to be extended using a piece of plastic attached to the end of it.

Although the not the prettiest thing, it works and the hydraulic brake on the front is a vast improvement on the stock mechanical brakes that came with the bike.

Anyway, hopefully this may be of use to someone who was having the same problem as me :)
