I bought a cheapish £180 Novo Smart Turbo Trainer to use with my unpowered bike last winter... just to get a little exercise when it was too cold/wet/slippery to go out. Now we're mostly all in lock-down, even though we're still allowed to go out and cycle for exercise (at least for now), I'm preferring to avoid all contact and still use my Turbo Trainer indoors.

I bought the Trainer because I had my old non-powered hybrid bike kicking about doing nothing anyway, but it occurred to me there's nothing to stop you using a Trainer with an e-bike - with the power turned off - is there? I can't see any issue using a crank-drive bike with either a wheel-on, direct drive, or roller Trainer, although the axle diameter of a rear hub-driven bike might be a problem with a "wheel-on" type Trainer (they all seem to need a QR skewer to clamp the wheel).

Interactive road-riding apps like Zwift, Roudy, Road Grand Tour (as examples) are really good fun when you're locked indoors.
