Hi can anyone tell me if the LS Fatboy can be held in a repair stand as it doesn’t have the standard crossbar or could it be held with the seat post ?

you can hold it in the stand with the seat post.
I do that too.
It works better, easier to balance the bike on the stand compared to holding it with the top tube.

Many thanks for the quick response; I will have to purchase a stand now.

The cheap ones with plastic clamps can't clamp tight enough to stop the bike rotating around the clamp. They only work if you can clamp at the balance point. Even then, if you take the battery off or the motor wheel, the bike tips round until it's vertical.

In other words, it's worth spending a bit more on a decent stand. Look for one with metal clamps. The best ones have conical or indexed clamps.
