My E6010 battery has five green lights. When the fifth green light stops flashing and stays on, it's supposedly fully charged. When I put it on the bike it shows 100%.

However, I forgot it was on the other day. When I went back to it, the charger light and battery lights were off. All seems well.

It's crossed my mind it might not be fully charged when all five green lights are on (but nearly there, so it registers 100%, but might still be in say a 98-100% range). So repeat the cycle a few times and I might have a 90% battery registering a full charge.

Anyone know if five lights on is a full and proper charge or if it'd make sense to leave it 'til it goes off of its own accord.

Thanks in anticipation.

Turning itself off probably means it has protection circuit to prevent problems.
At some point it will be balance charging check the voltage output at the 5 flashing green light stage, the 5 solid greens will mean it is fully charged.

Measure the battery voltage after charging. Anything over 41.5v is OK

He's either BritishGaz or LeccyGaz o_O.

Sounds like Gaz has been rumbled by BAC.

C'mon gents, whatever happened to Camping Gaz, or my favourite, as I grew up in the 60's and 70's, North Sea Gaz?

I promise the reality is considerably less interesting
