I've got an old electric push scooter , 120w brushed motor

I've replaced the dead sla with a 22.2v lithium pack but it seems sluggish

Any ideas ? I've even tested with my Lipo bricks and still same. Was faster with 24v sla

Any ideas ?

Btw I know they are illegal on pavements etc... But my dad uses them to get around marinas when on his boat. The marina are happy

How many amps does the controller allow and how many can the battery give?

Good question! I'm using Panasonic cells from an 8fun battery- they are a shade over 2000mah each. ( 6s 3p so 22.2v and 6ah ish)

I did think maybe duff cells but tested that pack against 2 different Lipo multi star bricks (22.2v 5.2ah ) which should cope with any likley required c rating? At least I thought so

The controller has no clues on the outside either

I doubt that the 18650s could give enough power, but the lipos should be OK.
