Speed limit jumper Q.

I have fitted a brushed ESC to one of my bikes that has the speed limiting connector that you short together to limit speed.
Will running a 1 meter long lead to use a remotely mounted switch cause any issues?
I want to use it as an Eco/Boost switch.

It should be fine. Best to keep the wires clear of the motor power leads, just to minimise the risk of interference, but I've run speed limiter wires from behind the saddle to the handlebars with no problem at all.
