I actually managed to get 31mph the other day down hill in a 30mph zone so I'm not sure if telling everyone how fast one's going is a good idea (it was only for about a second ;) )

Is anyone on the Forum a member of Everyday Cycling?
Their membership seems to have some interesting benefits:
Insurance cover for cycling activities.
Expert legal claims and advice

I'm tempted

Mmmm, not so sure. It will only show at nights, and if one stays at a steady speed as someone passes, they won't know it refers to mph, just thinking it's permanent number.

Anyway, best kept quiet, or they might make it the law for motorcyclists or even car back panels to have them all the time.
