Sw900 Error 08 Help

Hi, I've just been on my bike and all of a sudden a error 08 popped onto my screen and throttle wouldn't work
I have checked the connections and it's all good I have measured the ground and red it says 4.5v with no throttle applied
And ground and signal(white) says 3.4v
It's a new half twist throttle only had it 2 days, any ideas on what it could be as when I disconnect the throttle from the controller the ground and red measure 4.99v-5v
Any help will be appreciated thank you

Between ground and white, you should have approx 1.2v with the throttle shut and 3.8v with it fully open. If you get 3.4v with it shut, you've broken it.

Thank you I gathered that once I put the black probe on the white cable and touched the red with my finger bike wanted to shoot off lol
