Finding my (electric) wheels

Please excuse my ignorance on this question...

I pick up my new ebike next week which I will use to commute to work.
I have nowhere indoors to store it so it will be exposed to the elements.
I am thinking especially about rain here - what do you guys use to keep the battery and the
electronic display panel dry? Are there such things as battery and display covers or are these
100% waterproof and therefore this is something I do not need to worry about?

Much appreciate any thoughts

Two points on bike covers:

Some e-bikes are longer than standard bikes, so check the intended cover is long enough for your bike.

When using, make sure there's a wide gap between the bottom of the cover and the ground to allow adequate air circulation. This is especially important when covering the bike after a rainy ride home, to allow the water on the bike to evaporate, minimising corrosion.

To waterproof the electronic display just tear a section of clear plastic bag to put over it and hold in place with an elastic band.
