Throttle wire colour codes

Hi, anybody know which colour wire does what on this throttle:

ScooterParts Limited

I thought the switch was a simple puch to make using 2 of the wires but apparently not

There are 5 wires so I would expect pos, neg, signal (and no idea given my misconcpetion about the switch).

OK, engaged brain instead. The answer is:

Black = ground
Red = VCC (+5v)
White = signal
Green = + 36v battery
Brown = switch
Yellow = switch

My continuity tester was playing up. I worked it out in the end by taking it apart. Took all of 5 mins.

Are all the ebike throttles interchangeable? I'm considering butterfly handlebars for my Wisper but the current throttle is unsuitable and I don't know what I can replace it with.

I think theay are largely interchangable. The ones with a power meter will be either 36v or 24v. Most run on 5v I think. They normally put out between 1v and 4v on the signal wire.

I am installing butterfly bars on my bike. Hope work permits me to build the bike this weekend I got some BBB milti-bars from my local store for £20.
