Hi, my Tonaro Compy made a "bad" noise and stopped driving, have removed the motor and started to strip the gear box, the motor still works but the cog that it is meshed with is seized. Does anyone know if spare parts are available or can it be repaired?

There's no outlet now for the Tonaro brand in the UK, or in Europe that I know of. They were also sold under other names elsewhere but the US and Canadian companies no longer handle them.

The only outlet still selling them recently is in Australia, sold under the Aseako name and I know they were still claiming to have spares last year. Here's a link with a sales email address:

The Chinese Tonaro company making them is no longer in business.

thanks flecc, I have managed to strip down the gearbox and found a disintegrated bearing, will see if I can get this repaired locally.
