I have cut and pasted a short extract from a thread on this forum dated 2012 for a Cyclamatic power plus -

"I have made no adjustments to brakes or gearing as all seemed fair and proper, the only adjustments I have made are taking the front tyre up to 35psi and the back up to 45psi (advised by Halfords)."

Indicates 45psi pressure?

35 to 40 psi will be about right. On all my bikes, I always pump until it starts to become hard to pump. I never use a pressure gauge.

It's not that critical. Pump up until it becomes hard to pump, then pinch the tyre with your fingers to see what it feels like, and remember the feeling. Every month or so, pinch the tyre again to see whether it feels the same. If it feels squishy, pump it up again.
