Hello. A newbie question if anyone can help.

I have just bought a battery from a Chinese company for my Bafang fun 8 BBS01.
It has brass threaded connectors on the bottom which is the only place I can see where I should connect the provided wires (one read one black). The thing is I have never seen terminals like this before. They are female and threaded.

Nothing else is included in the battery nor any instructions.
Can someone point me in the direction of which connectors I should use for these terminals (3rd image)? Or can someone identify the battery or has a manual for this battery ?

This one is the controller box:

Open the controller box, solder a 14 gauge red silicone wire to the battery + terminal and a 14 gauge black silicone wire to the battery - terminal.
Run these two wires to the bike's bottom bracket. Use some trunking to protect the wires.
Fit a couple of Anderson connectors to the wires' ends.
You will need to replace the battery connectors on your BBS01 with matching Anderson connectors.

where to buy the bits:

@trex. Fantastic exactly what I needed to know, thank you very much. Nice one. Any idea how long it should take to charge? I have a charger that came with the battery.

the battery when shipped is loaded with 50% charge. It may have lost a little bit in transit. If you have a 12AH battery and a 2A charger, that will be 6AH to charge up, 3 hour. The charger's LED will go green when it's all done. There is no risk, you can leave the charger on overnight.

Hello. Sorry to come back on this but want to make sure I know what to do before I do it. I have opened the controller box and there are 4 terminals inside (2nd picture), the front side (1st picture) marked positive and negative on the two end terminals. Do I just need to connecto to the two end terminals or all 4?

Positive to outer connector and negative to inner for your power to controller or power switch.

As OldBob1 said, you only need two terminals.

Leave the cover out, slot the battery into the controller box.
Switch on the battery and use your volt meter to identify the batt+ and batt- terminals.
They need to be connected to the motor, batt+ to motor red, batt- to motor black, using 12 gauge or 14 gauge silicone wires.
I use anderson connectors between motor red/black and battery red/black but if you don't have andersons, you can use bullets or just solder red to red, black to black.
