I don't have a working speedo so I don't know how fast I am going. A bit like riding a bike back in the olden days. :)

Around town I would say that I average about 20 km/h
On the open road about 26-27 km/h

These figures are based on one years riding experience on my previous bike and I don't think that I am going any faster. But I am a hell of a lot more comfortable!

My average is around 26-30kph lights and traffic slow me down. Flat road I cruse at around 32kph.
Off road I fall off. My bike has full suspension but I have NO stability.

The 70 mph UK motorway speed limit has been in place since 1965. Living in Germany for 7 years tended to change my way of thinking and driving. On the continent doing 70 now, you may well be the slowest car on the autobahn. It's no wonder that the UK is backwards when it comes to handling speed.

15 mph pedelecs are dangerously under-powered in my opinion.

As were the vehicles in 1965.. and the same speed limit applies today, 51 years later. Why?

My motor cuts at 15, i can pedal to about 20 on the flat but i cant keep that going for long.
I feel 15 mph cut out is too slow, i'd like 20 as a happy medium for speed V range...... probably will have 20 on my next kit

Just about sum's it up for me too
I can peak out about 22 on the flat and drop down too around 18 continuous but obviously a hill comes or strong head wind and that's out the window
20mph would be a nice cut off speed as I still want too work while using the bike as well
