Wheel wont spin when turning the throttle on a voilamart hub.

I was trying to do the e-bike conversion, and I was trying to test the wheel while it was installed. I heard a sparking noise; the wheel then stopped spinning. I think it was one of the phase wires touching one another (they were exposed because I accidentally plugged the wrong ones together and they only have bullet connectors on the wires). Is there anything I can do to fix it?

The controller has likely shorted and mosfets have failed, one will need a metre to carryout some basic wire testing to confirm.
