Help! Which way does this undo?

Hi Guys,

I've got this Dapu hub motor and I need to open it up. I've got the tool and I've read it's clock wise to open but I've only managed to turn it about 10mm CW.

I just want to check it's definitely CW before I get the bigger hammer out

ACW to open hub motors cover plates, all you have done is to tighten it up more.
