winter tyres

thinking of getting tyres for winter. Currently have Marathon Plus Tour which are fine for when it's fairly firm and dry but perhaps not the best for muddy trails which I will mainly be using. Would like to stick to puncture resistant. Any suggestions.

Smart sams!. Marathons are great puncture wise, but little grip. Sam have much better grip, but slightly less puncture resistance. Good compromise though.

Are smart sams noisy on the road?

I use to switch between smart sams and big apples depending on conditions, I don't rember the Sam's as being noisy atall.
As with all schwalbe tyres there's different levels of protection for each modle, I think the Smart Sam plus offer the best protection

Planet X doing them for 10.50 at moment , bargain . I ordered a set
