Hi all,

I would appreciate some advise on which brand appears to be the better choice (durablity, support..)?

I am looking at Yosepower (https://www.yosepower.com/en/product/Hub-Motor-36V250W-28"-Front-Motor-Bicycle-E-Bike-Hub-Conversion-Kit-Silver-DIY-E-bike-LCD-Display-with-Front-Light-118.html)
problem with the above is the hydraulic brake sensors are out of stock (any advise on where else a compatible sensor can be sourced or how one could be made?)

and the cyclotricity 250W front hub conversion kit.

I am on a budget and a front wheel 250W appears to be the most convenient / affordable option?

I have a MTB, voodoo marasa, 700C wheels (but i was told a 28" kit will fit)

Thank you!

Also consider Woosh.

(I notice they are listed again after some time not showing.)
They are UK based and service and advice is excellent.

We've been very happy with the lower powered XF07 on our tandem. As Woosh advised before we bought it, it is quite low powered for that; we very much use it as assist rather than to drive us along almost unaided.

The way tyre/wheel sizes are quoted is mad, and has got even sillier with recent MTB fashion coming and going. 28" is the same as 700C (https://www.sheldonbrown.com/tire-sizing.html)

Yose usually seem to be out of stock of 700C.

I have both cyclotricity fwd, and a Yosepower rear kit. Of the two the Yosepower kit at under £200 is the best value. You might have to spend a little more for a suitable pas and brake cutoffs, but the same applies to the cyclotricity kit. Check out the prices on a like for like basis.
I prefer the rear wheel kit, but it was a little more work to fit, it largely depends on the type of bike you want to convert.
