    It works perfectly now!Thanks again
  2. Apologies, I hadn't considered this particular serious deficit of Smartphones. Not having a mobile signal where I live in a London borough and knowing how much the government lie about their wholly inadequate coverage, I'm very much an enemy of Smartphones and the damage they are doing to young society in particular. I most strongly object to the bullying to use one, to the extent of deliberately making life difficult without access to one. I often punish the organisations that do that by switching from their communication with me by computer to totally paper and postage, the hard way. HMRC are the largest victim of my revenge, they have to send everything the hardest way, but I pay what I owe conveniently and easily online by computer. .
  3. There seems to be some confusion here. A motor usually has a 9 pin waterproof male plug on the cable that connects to a 9-pin female connector cable going to the controller. There are 3 types of cable to connect other items to the controller via another (but different) 8 or 9 pin waterproof female connector on the controller:- 1T2 - An 8 pin male connector at the controller end and and two connectors for the display (usually 5 pin) and a throttle (usually 3 pin) at the other. 1T4 as above but 4 connectors - 2 extra for brake sensors. 1T5 - as above but with a fifth connector for a front light and a 9 pin male connector at the controller end. You can probably use a 1T4 cable with a controller having a 9 pin female connector (you just won't be able to use the front light) but not a 1T5 with an 8 pin female controller connector. The only variation to be aware of is that brake connectors can be 2 or 3 pin and male/female sometimes reversed (eg Yose 3 pin). This is the wiring diag. for KT "waterproof" controllers supplied by PSWPower:- I have successfully connected 1T4 cables from Yose and TBK to 9-pin KT controllers (as above diag.) without problems, other than making sure the 3-pin brake sensor connectors on the brake levers were the correct male or female orientation.
  4. Yes, it's about 6kgs with a 36V 20AH downtube battery in stock. I will have the 85TS kit with rack battery end June.
  5. 350w is not legal in Italy, though!
  6. You can still use that cassette motor if you have freewheel gears, but you'd have to buy a 7-speed cassette. A freewheel motor would be better because they're easier to fit, more reliable and normally cheaper. https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005002362793253.html?src=google&pdp_npi=4%40dis%21GBP%215.41%213.62%21%21%21%21%21%40%2112000046076933549%21ppc%21%21%21&src=google&albch=shopping&acnt=272-267-0231&isdl=y&slnk=&plac=&mtctp=&albbt=Google_7_shopping&aff_platform=google&aff_short_key=UneMJZVf&gclsrc=aw.ds&albagn=888888&ds_e_adid=&ds_e_matchtype=&ds_e_device=c&ds_e_network=x&ds_e_product_group_id=&ds_e_product_id=en1005002362793253&ds_e_product_merchant_id=107908526&ds_e_product_country=GB&ds_e_product_language=en&ds_e_product_channel=online&ds_e_product_store_id=&ds_url_v=2&albcp=20705672338&albag=&isSmbAutoCall=false&needSmbHouyi=false&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20701995020&gbraid=0AAAAAoukdWNoD2F5zvG_kYvjokBeKEI3t&gclid=CjwKCAjw_pDBBhBMEiwAmY02Nj3vctY7mJBtiFny9LqwsMOW7AsPblr8Kux4L2b-YNjPdueytSWLOhoC3lEQAvD_BwE&gatewayAdapt=glo2vnm

Fabulous bike but the thumb throttle has stopped working hardly use it.Any ideas to solve the problem? Thanks
  9. Be careful, some people call a freewheel gearset as a cassette. There are two different gear systems: freewheel has screw-on gears and is OK up to 7-speeds; freehub, normally called cassette, has a spline for slide-on gears and is necessary for 8+ speeds. Your bike has the freehub system, so you need a cassette (freehub) motor. You can take your cassette off your present hub and put it on the new motor. For that you'll need a cassette removal tool and a chainwhip tool. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175573166855?_skw=cassette+removal+tools&itmmeta=01JV72X0R8XMDH2RNW9MMNMYVZ&hash=item28e0f9eb07:g:cZ4AAOSw5VFiu5y2&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAAA8FkggFvd1GGDu0w3yXCmi1fu3Q55oYh8wtoXI54300dvq2vTGFFeVTKkl2PQ%2FIN0vYcnR1lOlOjbvKuRZO6k8%2Bptqve2wCH5hyM0%2BNk8BWco%2BUZGrCdRaZrwTV%2Bvs5laBaLg71H6gp9zwKz7fEGiqTH8K9GoJOkdJ6Q0NyUkSnOTRB4slfL0kiptI0H1LSRzbXqAdPXI0q7u5CxIpoJ%2BAMsdDdq%2F6%2BYmcWN41anI%2FPDTpgDcVzfNqLvbkNBIp18iX%2FfFfZugrFzeoOfUOHyxfhWawqLSLUuinYL7V3gxqVZQmuv7jAkyVVnH5Sua6wpmRQ%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR66M9OLZZQ You'll also need a crank puller and bottom bracket tool to fit the pedal sensor. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/186148505934?_skw=bottom+bracket+tool+and+crank+puller&itmmeta=01JV731F1DX680SYG9CZATVFYK&hash=item2b5750c94e:g:HeMAAOSwi5hlyYDF&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAABAFkggFvd1GGDu0w3yXCmi1dZXBOFW%2FKzjnBCu%2BF9XHhsWN2ryH3hnaYm9e%2FUfrRrKdDY296aoWU%2FGJxjdU643sx0WFiTW2pQ7xRMjITGWe4dUIVLCD8YZVzT%2ByswHb%2BZ09NkXKydLwrBMHufvJ0oLjTJ8KreK1sr30zSAVEqtL3sJhBvEzNXNhU5H6Htl5wCI3WLdP967p%2BcEFSg20lCH22fGfez91zihPx%2B0EKIqPe30msliyscbbqrD2Pjjy%2B1lI66PyMw89BEZU8K8FC9AcjCoVMA5F0trK0fAk6MUO1k9HeZhFiyXae4lmrOsUK9g5tV9aRRhyiczEmr1I9Wxwo%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR-zwhePZZQ
  10. It's a secret. I might want to patent it, so you'll have to wait until it's finished. It shouldn't be too long now.
  11. That's encouraging and as it's a Yose set up I'm going to assume it's 9 pin Julet. This is looking like the route I'll be going down.
  12. Before going to the trouble of changing handlebars, are your wrists angled down when you grip the bars? If so, try rotating the brake levers down to encourage you to keep your wrists straight. I found that bar ends gave an alternative position to move the hands occasionally and relieve any numbness. There are lots of different styles and short rubber ones did the job without being too intrusive. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/392535770191?_skw=bar+ends&itmmeta=01JV4ADVDD9356B08A6AW2A21D&hash=item5b64f4844f%3Ag%3AhjYAAOSwWl5dzT3O&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAAA4FkggFvd1GGDu0w3yXCmi1dv%2BxNl1hc2Khm4K7ioNDeu%2FXiFI20gMb9lEzgQ0PysXfn6e7uefDUFA52DDRq4ZEExMoRmcRXbsuvkEMyxgm%2BSbTSyep%2BKa6jghYgiOR5AikO0ZQ%2BFmz31q0E6wct94vKTKSmp7G2UweYv3p78sUSjAVr%2F8mUyRBqqs01C3F9GJWre6u7X25tJIGeue0xtolc1J9sRHcQ%2F63SeaJEYGqr16nh5lilViJkLm6YwlYpzyK6HWr8fshJA9cGPYel9f8AzVj9QsM7LvrZAfn0aUghv%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR_K2t4rZZQ&keyword=bar+ends&sacat=0&relatedSearch=true
  13. Here's a pic if that helps
  14. Mike, you are turning this famous thread into a joke.
  15. Humour is fine, and albeit we are not neighbours on the opinion spectrum, I like your contribution. This thread has nearly 111,000 posts, a lot of people have contributed to it over the years and possibly one of the best in this forum on an important subject that matters to all of us. By and large, we stick to facts albeit from a wide opinion spectrum. I much prefer we exchange our views via our own writing. Wherever a link is necessary, Flecc even does not post the 'short reveal' or unfurl of his link, he attach the URL to the word 'LINK'. Although I appreciate the gentlemanly attitude, it's too much finger work on a phone for me. What I object to is the videos that are added to your posts. those videos are, shall we say, a bit too much of a propaganda or obviously exaggerated, especially the last one, featuring a 'white powder' when Macron met Starmer. It was a crumbled white tissue. I would like to ask you to avoid posting videos like that in the future. PolitiFact | Fact-checking Alex Jones: White object on table in Macron video was tissue, not cocaine
  16. I think it has a torque sensor, so you would probably want to install the throttle as well as per the Woosh page "Please note that with torque sensor, the motor output is proportional to your pedalling. You have to pedal harder when climbing a hill. If you have some physical issue, add the throttle kit."
