From what I know different motors can make a different noise, they all cut out at about 15mph, I'd just use it because you will have warranty

I'm not in the market for another bike but put the miles down because it may be useful for the sale.

Whatever you buy just make sure it's long enough, some chains are only 114 links long and if you have a Yamaha motor and run a large chainring it will be to short.

Can you try another halfords, they have them in my local shop and they do a free 48 hour bike trial

Like soundwave said, buy a shock pump if you have air forks, even if the shop sets them up for you, you will still have to do them yourself at a later date

For the tubeless setup just wrap some duck tape around the rim

You can run more than one chainring up front with the Yamaha drive.

Hello N961 and welcome to the gang I have a lapierre and love it. I'd ride all the bike that you can that are within your budget and then make the choice on the one that fits you best.

Fit it yourself, just use the shop to exchange the motor.
