Which adapter for 160->180 mm disc?
Good idea. Yes, probably the best option all things considered, and not expensive either. I'll try with those and post an update.

Which adapter for 160->180 mm disc?
Ah, yes, upon closer inspection the SM-MA-F180P / P2 was the one I already tried with, which unfortunately didn't fit (the spacing was the issue...). Guess I'll have to live with the 160 mm unless I also switch the fork? Pretty sure Cannondale have no 180 mm adapter to offer. Quite annoying when they can't keep to the standard measurements.

Great - thanks. Will order. OK - thanks! Yes, probably enough to just switch the front one.

Which adapter for 160->180 mm disc?
I have this bike with Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes: https://www.cannondale.com/en/bikes/electric/e-fitness/quick-neo-eq/quick-neo-eq I would like to switch the rear+front discs to 180 mm (currently 160 mm). Been trying to figure out which adapter to buy, but it's a jungle. The guy at my local bike shop had no idea and just said "it's something new, no clue". I did try this one for the front after checking with Bike-Discount DE, but the one they said would fit didn't: https://si.shimano.com/pdfs/si/SI-8170A-001-ENG.pdf Front caliper (~8 cm wide): Rear caliper (~4,5 cm wide):

Here's a video of the creaking. I think I nailed it down to the right side:

Cannondale Neo EQ creaking bottom bracket?
I'm experiencing a creaking sound that seems to be coming from the bottom bracket and/or crankset on my Cannondale Quick Neo EQ (2019). It comes and goes and is only apparent when I put some weight on the pedals. Once it starts it goes on for a while (maybe 10-15 rotations) and happens once every rotation and with the pedals at about a 90 degree angle. Hard to tell more precisely I'm afraid. Can't really hear if it's from the right or left side for example. Bought it last summer, so it's not even a year old yet. Just passed the 1000 km mark.... Where should I start? Is this a common issue? I'm not very technical, but I can remove the crankset if need be. Anything else would probably need to be handled by the shop as I only own a basic set of tools. What I've tried so far: Removed and cleaned seat post/made sure it was properly mounted (didn't make a difference, as expected).

Which Low Assist eBike
When you get the SL2, can you post a small review on here? I'm also looking to get it. What you think about the frame and the build quality. I have the Cannondale Quick Neo EQ, but want something lighter (it's about 21kg with all bells and whistles).

Tuning kit for X35 ebikemotion?
Thinking about picking up the Cannondale SL2. Are there any tuning kits available for the ebikemotion X35 series yet? There seems to be a kit for pretty much every other system, but I can't seem to find one for the X35. I would just wish for it to assist up to 30 km/h / 20 mph. It should at least be technically possible as several manufactures, like the ORBEA, offer bikes limited to 20 mph with the X35 system in the US. Edit: Stumbled upon this https://www.sccarbonrepairs.com/product-page/ebikemotion-x35-dongle. Seem sto be just what I was looking for. Too bad it's in Australia though, will be very expensive to import. Found it towards the end of this thread: https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/ebikemotion-x35-speed-limiter-fix.24588/page-14

Difference between delimited 250w motor VS 500w motor
I'm sure you can get the insurance, but what good will it do if you cause major harm / damage? There'll be an investigation where they'll go through the bicycle. Since a tuning kit is so obvious, they don't need to do much investigating.

Updates available for Kiox, the app and the portal
Can you activate the lock feature after updating? https://www.bosch-ebike.com/en/products/lock/ It's supposed to be available with the 2.0 update, but I can't activate/find it anywhere. Also tried a factory reset. I bought my bike last year, its a 3rd gen bosch act line, so it should be fully compatible:

Is 2.0.0 the latest version? It says so on the Bosch page, yet the eBike app tells me that there's a new update available. I can't install it though as nothing starts to download no matter what I do. The app doesn't work very well for me. Always a hassle to intiate an update (I'm currently on the Pixel 4), but this time around nothing works to get the update started. Trier pairing/unpairing and restarted the Kiox and eBike app several times. I also tried leaving the app on for quite some time, which usually works.

Unless others start offering it for free to compete with Bosch it’s simply a matter of supply and demand. It there’s a demand and money to be made they’ll grab what they can. Bosch needs more and better competition. Yamaha and Shimano are still sleeping, which is why Bosch so easily can get away with this stuff. On the other hand, if their eBike systems have a life span of 10+years with little maintenance, where will they make money in the long run? The answer is probably by selling services and upgrades like these, so things may not change when Shimano and Yamaha enters the “smartbike” race, they’ll probably just follow cue... Bosch doesn’t make more money on super expensive bikes. A CX performance system carries the same cost and profit margin independent of how expensive a bike is. So what we paid for our bikes is pretty irrelevant for Bosch part. Batteries are also improving and becoming cheaper, so making money on those will become harder down the road. Finding a sustainable business model isn’t so easy, so it will be interesting to see how this develops.

The version number is 2.0. Just installed it. Can’t find the option though - where is it located? Yes, but if it means they keep adding new features I might actually be fine with it. I mean if the alternative is no new features unless I switch to a newer version of the Kiox system...

Is there a new update available with the lock function now? The app changelog says that there's a new lock function available that will basically stop anyone from riding away with the bike unless the paired Kiox device is connected with the bike as I understand it. I updated the app today, but there's no lock function anywhere to be found, nor can I find any update notification for the Kiox software. Anyone? Also: Does the new KIOX update work with tuning kits?
