  1. Would a KT controller work with the torque sensor already there? Any recommendations for one?
  2. That's 860 euro for a 575wh battery from goeco in Ireland It's a Wisper 705 Torque sensor. Mark 2.Bought it from you late 2016.it's been giving trouble for years. It's throw up controller errors as well.
  3. Thanks. That's exactly the type of thing I need. Will these work with the torque sensor?
  4. Hi My wisper has been useless for quite a few years now as the battery is goosed & I also think there might be controller issues, it used throw up errors. Someone looked at it & said try changing the battery but the prices are obscene here in Ireland for a replacement wisper battery. 860 euro. Then there might be a problem with the controller. Hence why I'm thinking we should change the battery & rack & controller completely & possibly the display. Any recommendations for a kit for me that would be fairly simple to fit
  5. Arghh. I'm getting these codes on my bike now
  6. In Ireland the law is different. I have researched this. Obviously commensense needs to be used as well. I've considered it for a while and I'm OK with her having one. The older kid was a different matter till recently. I suppose it's really a second ebike to have at home rather than just for her alone anyway
  7. My teen girl needs a new bike and I'm thinking she should get an ebike instead of a regular. She's only 13 but 5 ft 3 and growing rapidly. I also have a 15 year old who would use it occasionally as well and my oh could use it for cycling with me as well. I have a wisper 705 torque which I really like but my teen finds it a little big. I also don't want to spend too much on it. Works like to keep it around 1100 mark and that is the high end of the budget. We live in a very hilly area with nearest public transport 4 miles away and I feel much more use would be made of an ebike. A cadence sensor is fine. I live in Ireland so selection of bikes here is poor and over priced. I've been looking at Pendleton Somersby from halfords as they have some in stock
  8. How much adaption would be required so you think?
  9. Thanks David, that's the voltage from the wall charger that we got when we were checking the charger to rule that out. I'm looking for my voltage meter to test the battery
  10. I have a wisper 705 torque se with 575whr rack battery, Samsung cells. The battery isn't charging now. When I plugged in the charger it would very briefly go red and then green immediately. The lights on the battery would flash as well. I've contacted wisper and they think it might be a bms issue. I'm not sure if it's worth sending it for repair as I have the bike 3. 5 years. I had noticed some degradation issues already and the bike had cut out on a not so steep hill. Anyone replace the pack and bms themselves? I have a friend who's pretty handy. We have checked the charger voltage and it's 41.8v
  11. I have the front basket but I am unsure of which bracket to get to suit the wisper 705 torque, this is the type of basket I have but I am unsure of which bracket will suit the bike best (I hope to have the bike end of this next, start of next week) would this one be suitable? or if not, what type is suitable? Also I need to get a waterproof phone holder, any recommendations?
  12. Hi David, I was just online here and wondering if there is news on my bike
  13. Hi David, I emailed you earlier today but in case you missed it, I well definitely take that bike we discussed. I'll give you a ring at your convenience
  14. How good is it on the hills? I am looking at a 50cm version of that same bike soon
  15. Hi David, I might be interested in the Mark 1 Wisper Torque, would you send it to Ireland?
