  1. Hi, the one that I needed was one with one plug at the controller end, then LCD, Throttle, 2 x Brake and light at the other end. Mine had a fault on the throttle side and Joey from Yosepower in Germany is sending me replacements this week. It would be great if there was a place on this site that you could advertise all the small parts that make up a bike build. Often its a small component or cable that is needed. Good to know that you have them for the future.
  2. Hi, Thanks for the tip. I managed to order a cable the correct length from a company in Sweden, so one the weekend mine will be taken off the bike, and the new one installed. When I joined the wires, I spread the wires apart so they looked like a upside down volcano, then when pushing the two wires together in the jig, the ends of the wires intermixed, then with a small twisting of the ends together I then soldered. With the solder mixing down through the wires it seems to be a firm connection. The connection was also 50% along the length of the cable, so there was no real chance of flexing at the part where the two are joined.
  3. Hi Sturmy, the P2 setting is based on the specs I found for my motor, which is a 250w 36V Bafang Fun8 unit. I cut and pasted the info into my spreadsheet. I understand this is the number of magnets. Tried your option and made no difference. I think it’s a dud cable, so will have another try on Saturday. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Hi Sturmy. Found that there is no signal on one line of the three from the throttle. I don’t have any sharp bends on my routing. I am on your advise check the one place where I have a cable clamp firmly holding a cable in place. As it’s on an extension cable I can bypass it to find out if the error is in that section. 5. Hi, I am guessing the fault might be with the cable, there are not to many setting variations on the LCD. Online I found a cable, but not in this country. So I have ordered a couple of cables, the four to one and also a spare controller to motor cable. 3 days and it should be here. If the existing cable is faulty, then I can get the company I bought the kit from to them to replace it at my leisure. https://boxbike.dk/da/kabler-gashåndtag/334-forgreningskabel-1t4-til-elcykel-julet-135-cm.html Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Hi PC2017. No error messages showing up, and I have tried the motor running under PAS and then thumbing the throttle, no effect from the throttle. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. I did make up a extension cable yesterday from the controller to the motor, and the motor runs fine, and each wire tested good from each end. if I remove the extension and connect the original leads together from controller to motor it still runs the same. All the other cables look in good condition as they are new, and all the pins in the Julet connectors are straight. Not sure where I could have suddenly got a short from. 8. C4 to 2, no result. ( sounds a bit like chess ) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. I have a Yosepower kit that I have just put onto a bike. Before I routed all my cabling and I had everything joined up, the throttle worked fine, as did the PAS. After putting the bike all together, thePAS works, and the throttle does not. The controller is a KT with KT LCD3 screen, and all the connectors are Julet. I have two brand new throttles, and having swapped them around, with no result.. All the connections seem to be fully connected together. My settings on the LCD ARE AS FOLLOWS in the photo attached. Any ideas, as I have tried logic, and tea? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Hi Dom, take a look at this one from the same company I bought mine from. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/48V1000W-26-Rear-Motor-Freewheel-E-Bike-Hub-Conversion-DIY-Retrofit-Kit-Black/302923802323?hash=item4687aa66d3:g:chYAAOSwx2Fbxped Order was placed on Thursday, and it arrived on the following Tuesday. The connectors from the controller to the battery were with a Julet connector on controller side to two bulletin connectors on the battery side. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Hi, I spliced all 9 wires this afternoon, and managed to keep it all neat and tidy. I saw the cable you mention. But don’t have the patience to wait till January for a cable to arrive. Thanks for taking the time to look online. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Hi Neal, Yorkshire Tea, and logic in the end wins the day. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks for the help, made up a new connector from one with the closest colours, and decided that black is ground, then yellow must be ground on the controller. Plugged it in and waved a magnet near it caused the wheel to spin. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Here’s the controller end Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Hi, just gathered up a few more Pass units. Here’s a new one that has brown yellow black. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
