Thanks for the quick reply. I've got a tool, so I'll have a quick gander before I order. Cheers

Hi, I noticed a bit of crunching while commuting today, ao had a look when I got home and the crank has quite a lot of side-to-side play (the whole thing, both sides). I've done around 4000 miles on it to date, so am I right in thinkiing it's probably the bottom bracket that needs renewing? If so, could anyone point me to the correct one to buy for a Woosh Rio MTB? I use it daily, so would like to be able to get the part before stripping it and replacing it in one go. Thanks

Hi, Thanks very much, that's very generous of you I've just had a look in my kit now and I've got the one that I need by the looks of it. Much appreciated though

Hi, I need to replace the freewheel on my Rio MTB. Could you possibly point me to towards a link for a suitable replacement and a matching removal tool if it's not too much trouble? Many thanks
  6. Had a quick look tonight and sure enough, a couple of magnets have become unstuck.. A job for tomorrow with the epoxy. Thanks for the help, guys :-)
  7. Thanks for your email regarding the magnets. I'll email you and update the thread once I've checked out your suggestion. Cheers, Michael
  8. Thanks Dave, I had a look and it's still in mph. Been advised to check the magnets, so will have a look at that and hopefully sort it. Cheers, Michael
  9. Hi, I have a woosh rio. This morning for some reason the speed shown on the LCD is a few mph lower than it should be. I've had the bike 11 months and commute daily, so I know what speeds I usually ride at on each particular section of the commute and on the downhills it was up to 10mph lower than usual (usually 29/30 mph on the steep downhills but was showing 20). No wind this morning, so I'm confident that it's not a headwind issue. The speeds were consistently a few miles lower all the way to work. I've checked the wheel diameter setting and still showing 26". At first I thought it might be a magnet that had moved or spun round but had a look and can't see one, so I'm guessing the sensor is in the hub? Any ideas as to what the issue might be? Thanks.
  10. Thanks, I'll give that a try first then
  11. Thanks, I'll check it out
  12. I've got a Woosh Rio MTB and the chain keeps coming off whenever I go over a modest bump, such as a drop kerb etc. Probably happens a couple of times a day and is more than a little annoying. Admittedly I'm not going at a snails pace when it comes off, but at the same time I'm not always bombing it. Does anyone else have this issue? Does the chain need a link taking out or is there any other way of stopping it happen, other than slowing right down, which isn't really an option

Does the Woosh Rio MTB have mounting points for a rear rack? Thanks.
  14. Thanks guys, very helpful I'll have a look at the various options and maybe try to arrange a few test rides.
  15. Hi, I'm looking for a bit of guidance as to which bike might best suit my needs. Here's my particulars: 5'8" 49 yrs 11½ stone in old money Quite fit, cycle around 50 miles on a nice day out on my push bike, but generally about 20-30 on an average outing. Commute to work on a daily 6 mile round trip. So don't mind doing a bit of pedaling. Live in Leeds, which isn't too hilly but like to venture further afield to the hilly parts of Yorkshire, so reasonable performance on the hills would be handy, but bearing in mind that I don't mind doing a bit of pedaling to get up the hills. I'm looking at getting an ebike mainly because I'm getting to the point where I'm not obsessed with the fitness side of things and rather fancy the fun of being out and about exploring the countryside but not having to worry about working too hard but being able to put in as much or as little as I feel like on the day. Ideally I'd like a minimum range of 50 miles with a moderate amount of me assisting. Not too bothered about any serious off-roading but do enjoy gravel tracks and canal rides. I'd probably sway more towards a hybrid with a crossbar or conventional looking MTB. Not interested in the fat tyre types or dutch style. Budget is probably somewhere up to £1500. Something not too heavy that would be ok to ride without the battery would be a bonus, as I can imagine I'd be quite prone to a bit of range anxiety.. Been looking at the Woosh range and quite like the Karoo and Rio models. They look like a good spec for the money. Are there any other makes / models that might be suitable for my needs that would be within my budget? Thanks
