Will the mudguards fit the thicker tyres?

Can they be ordered without quick release? I see the value for track/event bikes, but for a bike you'll lock up outside while you shop/eat/walk etc, it's a security risk/additional expense to remove. The ones on the 705 keep me worried when we park up, and locking up the saddle makes it that little bit more fiddly.

Looks great! Do you know what the weight is going to work out as? What tyres will it take? Loving the 27.5" Plus (2.8" width) on my Merida atm. How will the minimum seat height differ from the 705? My girlfriend's seat is only just above the lowest setting, so hopefully she'll still be able to get on one of these.

I'm struggling to choose a bike rack to hold two eBikes, a Wisper 705 (heavy low-step) and a Merida eOne-Sixty (full suspension with chunky 2.8" tyres). I'm pretty sure it needs to be a tow bar mounted carrier to be able to hold a heavy low step. We're (always) short on space, so a fold-up carrier is a must for us, but less important if you can hang yours on a garage wall. Worth noting that a typical tow bar nose supports 75kg at most, so whatever the specifications for a bike carrier say, it's always 75kg minus the weight of the carrier. OK. Don't suppose you need any consumers to test your pre-production models? Not sure what your requirements are, but we've just backed the eFoldi Lite project on Kickstarter. Between that and an eBike, that's most of my girlfriend's mobility needs sorted (indoors and outdoors).

How will they compare to the 705 and 905? As the hub motor version isn't far away in price. Close to buying a 705 now, but it's hard to spend that money with these new models round the corner
