Thats the one I keep seeing.

Trailer for 806?
It's welded with an ancient sip stick welder. 40 yr old big heavy transformer lump. I'm sorely tempted by the hand held stick guns that keep popping up on Facebook.

Prices of the electricity we use to charge
Nah, I buy caviar can-apes with the profits, I live in the middle of an estate, shoot peasants for sport. Being a kind and caring socialist I find it better than watching them suffer with disability and madness. You of all people must agree Shirley.

What is this "ruski gas" of which you spake several pages ago? My house now has ASHP, Solar and Battery, selling more voles than I'm eating. I also buy them and freeze them at night while they are asleep, sell them to my poor neighbours to eat at tea time when they are expensive. About to get a car with vole wheels too. They are a lot faster than hamsters.

Don't know what's going on but Speeed is still on my phone, not used it for ages.

Making a torque throttle instead of a speed throttle for a cheap controller
Thanks, I have a small bum bag on my headstock all the excess wires and connectors live in, I'll probably tape it inside a small ziplock bag initially so it can't short out etc. The switched fused live feed and wago connectors for lights and phone charger live in there too. The money pocket holds a couple of spare fuses, data connector for speeed phone app etc. it's a neat arrangement.

Making a torque throttle instead of a speed throttle for a cheap controller
Hi saneagle Hmm, I fancy the legal low speed throttle arrangement for bbs01b. I find the throttle useful. I was thinking about going the DVLA low speed moped route but this is cheaper and neater, still legal to ride bridleways and footpaths. I've ordered the trimpot and a 3 pin extension cable to make up an insertable kit for the throttle cable. I think I understand your description but could you draw a wiring diagram showing trimpot inserted into a cut 3 wire cable pretty please. If anyone else wants a trimpot smallest order is 10, cheap as chips, so I'll have one spare for me, the rest I can't use. Happy to share via 2nd class post , they won't arrive from China for a couple of weeks though. Pm me.

How to fold/unfold 806
Sounds like rusted hinge pins. Need to get help to work the hinges with penetrating oil to loosen it up maybe.

I'm back
Well, that just confirms my theory that there are lots of lovely dog owners and there are Mad Cat Women, some of whome go in the guise of male ecyclists. Do you collect all the dead small birds to eat in pies too?

I'm back
And cats, there's more than enough on facebook. So many cats, not enough recipes! I hope they've been trained to shit in their owner's flowerbeds.

Brompton conversion: Woosh vs Boost Vs Swytch
I fitted the woosh kit with frog battery, very neat, battery locks on to the mounting block that fits onto the bag mount block. The frog battery could be improved with a white lense on the light, the red lens is useless for the front.

Queries: E-Bike Touring in France
Re handlebars, a while back I met an aggressive tram track and patch of tarmac that did for my wrist temporarily, a few months while it healed. I bought a Humpert Handlebar, swept back, so now I ride in a sit up and beg position, no pressure on wrists, comfortable.

How Do You Track Your Rides Without an App?
I use Google Fit on Android to track my rides and walks, there's a basic mode by default and a more accurate mode, select for walk/cycle. It does average speed, altitude etc. I don't need to export anything, I've no need. I generally just check It out when I've got home. It just works while the phone is on anyway in a little crossbar bag. As for battery life, I fitted a 36v feed in usb socket on the handlebars so I've no worries on that front. I do use phone for navigation occasionally, via Google maps/cycle. It knows the city cycleways etc. It's all part of google so nothing extra to pay for.
