What lights have you got?
And there was me thinking that you'd have Wembley stadium floodlights on your bike soundwave.

What lights have you got?
I'm running a Moon Meteor X Pro. Fairly small footprint on the handlebars. Amazing amount of light for the size, especially on highest setting. Battery lasts ok, but I've got the older model and I think they've upgraded runtime and light output on the newer model: Moon Meteor X Pro

In-line wire connectors, what a great idea :)
Now I don't know if I'm late to the party, but I saw a YouTube video today, showing a neat little product for joining wires together: The actual one I'm on about is around the 4 minute mark in the video and is this product at B and Q: https://www.diy.com/departments/ideal-industries-orange-32a-in-line-wire-connector-pack-of-10/1473915_BQ.prd?storeId=1050&ds_rl=1272379&ds_rl=1272409&ds_rl=1272379&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIl6aU4Kmr-gIVz9_tCh0SMgqPEAQYASABEgJtJfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Just looks so much easier to use than trying to fiddle around with connector blocks and crimps. I'm sure someone's gonna tell me they've been out for years

BBSO1B 36V 500W controller?
Bit dramatic SW

BBSO1B 36V 500W controller?
As guerney mentions, set the 'Keep Current' to 100% on the PAS page of the software, if you haven't done so already.

BBSO1B 36V 500W controller?
I know this isn't answering your question directly, but have you considered programming your existing controller for a bit more oomph? The programming cable and other useful BBS mid drive items can be found in this thread: https://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/after-market-bbsxx-crank-drive-gear.32691/page-4#post-638763

Grant Shapps wants a speed limit for cyclists
Scaremongering headlines. I will eat my own face if that ever gets greenlit in parliament

Is the Perry Ehopper a good ebike?
6.4Ah is pretty poor for a battery, IMHO, it'll be dead within a year.

Is the Perry Ehopper a good ebike?
At the end of the day, the battery is usually the most expensive cost of an electric bike. Even if it's made up of non branded cells. So expect a fairly mediocre bike at that price. My first ever bike was a Cyclamatic. I think I purchased it for something like 400 quid, but we're talking years ago. It had a few problems, one of which was the battery. So, I had to do a warranty claim on that. My phylosophy now is, spend the big bucks on the battery and the rest on good quality bike components.

Best 1500w motors?
Bafang BBSHD would be a good reliable choice, but I'm guessing you're after a hub motor and not mid drive?

20mph Speed Limit for Wales next year ?
Boris won't go for that, we've been Brexited. Oh no, I forgot, the twat's not PM anymore
-
20mph Speed Limit for Wales next year ?
Just a shame 99% of drivers will take absolutely no notice of that speed limit, unless there's a speed camera on a particular stretch of road. Plenty of 20mph speed zones up here and I've yet to witness anyone abide by them

I rode a hog and I liked it :)
I had another cheeky go. Bit longer this time. I had forgotten how much more relaxing a hub motor is, compared to a mid drive. Cyclamatic and MAC rear hub, before my BBS02. As much as I love a mid drive for the ability to power up most hills, a hub motor is literally fire and forget, until you get to a very steep hill, then it's perspire and sweat

Saw this illegal combo on Ebay.
