My ByoCycles Zest bike is about 6 years old. During the COVID-19 lockdown period, I failed to use it and to keep charging it. The battery accepted no charge at all when I tried to use it again despite severalattempts. I have not ascertained whetherthe battery has just failed or been used up, but I have no reason to suspect any fault in the control system. Now available for spares or repair, perhaps by replacing the battery. (Lithium Ion, spec: 10AH / 36V / 360Wh)) The bike has pedal assist with 4 levels of assistance; plus twist grip throttle and 6 gears. Recently serviced. Location: SG6 (Letchworth Garden City in North Herts, next to Central Bedfordshire and South Cambridgeshire; on the Cambridge-London railway.
